PALESTINE IN THE HEART FOREVER

The Scenes Of Safsaf Massacre is Still Live Running after me,
Yes, Running on me like a Shadow that Follows its Own Tree.
Sounds of Explosions and Sights of Never Ending Lightening Fear,
Running Scared Animals, and Screams of Women Deafening My Ear.
Scenes of Killing and Smelling of Blood Wrapped in Deathly Horror,
Mixed with Sounds of Bombing and Never Ending Yells of Terror.
Shooting from All Sides, Sounds of a Threatening Microphone,
People Rushing, Treading on Dead Bodies, Injured in Pain Moan!!

Even there was No Time to Answer a Question with Yes or No,
People Were Terrorized to Death Not Knowing What to Do, Where to Go.
Later, the Scene of a Mother Carrying a Pillow Cursing, Crying got Wild,
My Baby, I Picked this Pillow from the Cradle, Look!! Where is my Dear Child?

For Years I am Still Haunted with Such Horrible Scenes I Saw There,
Which kept me many nights Awake looking at the ceiling madly stare,
Awake, I Heard a Heavenly Voice Calling me, Go DO Your Share.

Thanks to Such Painful Memories, which kept me Wide Awake,
Re-planted Hope and Faith in Our Struggle for My Country؟s Sake.
Suppose I Forgot, God Forbids, I Would Have a Fatal Crime Again,
Remembering is a Bless, Created Hopes from Memories Full of Pain.
Those Memories Paved the Way for me and Broke Out that Iron Wall, Then Joined, Answering that Call, Determined To Do Miracles After All.

This Never Ending Process of Aggression Using PEACE as a Cover,
Such False Spill is a Curse and Should Be Thrown Behind us Forever.
Our Holy Belief in Life and Death is Forever Our Strongest Sharp Might,
We Must Milk-Feed This to Our Children and Keep ALIVE Our SACRED RIGHT,
PALESTINE Our Land Deserves that We Die to Live, and Keep The CAUSE ALIVE In Light.

Palestinian Am I by E. Yaghi

No one can take away from me
My identity,
For it is mine.
Palestinian am I.
I am the river that flows
Through my land.
I am the mountain
Noble and magnificent
Rising up out of chaos and destruction.
I greet the morning sun
That shines down on my fertile valleys
And parches my barren desert.
I am the red poppy and yellow daffodil
That grow upon my bloodstained hills.
I am the battle cry of freedom
That echoes through my corridors
And every fiber of my being.
Palestinian am I.
I am the proud owner of
Orange orchards and lemon blossoms
And honey bees, wild and free.
I am the Palestinian David child wielding a single stone
Against the Israeli Goliath.
I am not afraid,
For truth is with me and God is on my side.
If I die,
A choir of angels will honor me
And later, my parents will grasp my outstretched hand
And join me in Heaven.
I am the tears of
Mothers weeping for their dead sons.
I am the footsteps of ancient prophets
Who foretold of doom and destruction
To those who torture and oppress me.
My brethren are the doves, hummingbirds and seagulls
That fly unhindered above my sea.
I am Palestinian,
Therefore, I am.
No one can take my identity
Away from me,
Not tanks or guns or bombs
Meant to desecrate me and kill me.
My country lives in me.
I am the cry of liberty.
No matter what they take from me,
They can't take away my identity
Or my dignity.
Palestinian am I.

Identity Card by Mahmoud Darwish

Record!
I am an Arab
And my identity card is number fifty thousand
I have eight children
And the ninth is coming after a summer
Will you be angry?
Record!
I am an Arab
Employed with fellow workers at a quarry
I have eight children
I get them bread
Garments and books
from the rocks..
I do not supplicate charity at your doors
Nor do I belittle myself at the footsteps of your chamber
So will you be angry?
Record!
I am an Arab
I have a name without a title
Patient in a country
Where people are enraged
My roots
Were entrenched before the birth of time
And before the opening of the eras
Before the pines, and the olive trees
And before the grass grew
My father.. descends from the family of the plow
Not from a privileged class
And my grandfather was a farmer
Neither well-bred, nor well-born!
Teaches me the pride of the sun
Before teaching me how to read
And my house is like a watchman's hut
Made of branches and cane
Are you satisfied with my status?
I have a name without a title!
Record!
I am an Arab
You have stolen the orchards of my ancestors
And the land which I cultivated
Along with my children
And you left nothing for us
Except for these rocks..
So will the State take them
As it has been said?!
Therefore!
Record on the top of the first page:
I do not hate people
Nor do I encroach
But if I become hungry
The usurper's flesh will be my food
Beware..
Beware..
Of my hunger
And my anger!

INJUSTICE AND OCCUPATION

The Worst Malady that Faces our Present Generation,
Is The Cancerous Disease of Racism and Discrimination,
Such Hatred Against Our Nation is beyond Human Imagination.

Injustice and Hate Became The BOOK of this Uncivilized World,
With Such Evil Behavior, To Devils Their Souls were Easily Sold,
And Without Understanding The Cause, Blindly Did as were Told,
With no Feelings to Human Beings at all, Whether Young or Old,
To Human Rights Never Gave any Thought, nor a Slight
Consideration.

With Such Killing, Bombing and Blood Shedding with No
Limitation,
And Inspite of that Palestinians Still Have The Strong Will,
And Serious Determination.
What Does The World Expect from Our People Under Such
An Occupation?
To Stand Still, Kneeling and Hands Tied Without Any Kind
Of Counter Retaliation !!!

We LOVE LIFE and JUSTICE with PEACE Both Without
Any Kind Of Hesitation,
Also, We Are ANXIOUS For The TRAIN OF JUST PEACE, To Reach Safely Its Final Destination.

Again Our People Go, Never Stop, Refrain From Normalization
And Don؟t Mold,
Your Holly Mission is Appreciated and a more-Valuable
Wealth than Gold,
This Website Of OURS, Updates The Forgotten Memory
Of The Whole Nation,
And Honestly Passes it to Our Valuable Beloved Young
Future Generation,
We Here, Highly Respect Such Dedicated Efforts and
Send YOU All Our Sincere CONGRATULATION ؟

MIGHT ISN'T ALWAYS RIGHT

On our Land Palestine we have the full right,
To defend ourselves by all means and fight,
And work always together hand in hand,
To defend our own people, soil and land.

We want the whole world after all to know,
That we are freedom fighters by nature's law,
But we have good hearts as white as snow,
Also we are Decent Human Beings after all,
And Love Life and Peace is our final Goal,

Our nation cannot tolerate this any more nor wait,
It's a matter of justice not a matter of love or hate,
Unfortunately some nations don؟t understand us straight,
Is by force taking other peoples homeland justified?
And how can we remain silent, blind folded with hands tied!
By force! Does the law of the jungle prevail with its might?
There should be no exceptions and might isn't always right.

THE LEGACY: on the death of a mother of Palestine

By Fathi Hussein

She faces the blinding light
body dilapidated
memories engulfed by flames
as the thread of childhood, lost virginity and children born
is bulldozed aside
the final portals of her survival
close.

With borderless love
she leaves me the sword and shield of Ayn Gazhal:
"remember.
Lest the sun sets on who we are
Lest the voids of history obscure
the Arab melody still whistling through the trees.
Fight, fight, the fading of the light."

Ghazala, Ghazala, I came inside you
as the cup of grief spilt over
I anointed your foundations.
My love, me golden love,
a delicate ruin
welcoming me
home

I am blind to the whores of Zion
their vulgar forms
available for a price
I turn my face from their makeshift cities
My little Ghazala,
I have eyes only for you.

There is ash in the wind
The golden rubble of Ghazala is exposed
and between the olive trees of my ancestors
I ache for the final consummation.
