Site Updates: October 2007 Release

1. Oral History: We have added over 50 Nakba Oral History Interviews, many of them were conducted with Syria's Palestinian refugees for the first time. Up to this point, we have conducted over 350 interviews (that includes 1,275 hours of recording), and now you can view all of them online.
2. Filming the destroyed villages: We have added 10 more movies for the destroyed and ethnically cleansed villages. Thanks to Uri Zackhem who produces over 20 movies for the destroyed villages on his own expense.
3. Arabic version: The website's Arabic version is as complete as it gets, in many cases it contains more data than the English version.
4. Site's videos: We have made the first attempt to classify internet videos concerning Palestine into categories. Be free to share your videos to the appropriate pages.
5. Site's members: We have compiled all site's members into one single list organized at the sub-district level. We hope it will simplify connecting refugees, friends and loved ones.
6. Village Statistics Project: We are pleased to announce the Village Statistics Project where we share all our statistical data with the general public. We hope researchers, journalists, and historians will find it useful.
7. Google Earth: One more time, we like to draw your attention to the most comprehensive electronic mapping of Palestine via Google Earth and Maps. If you have not seen this presentation yet; your onto a big surprise.
8. Hebrew version: To the Hebrew speaking visitors, we have provided a simple (yet effective) Hebrew version to all ethnically cleansed, destroyed, and existing Palestinian-Israeli towns. Beside that, we have translated our popular Zionist FAQs section to Hebrew as well. We hope this will be the prelude to the full blown Hebrew version in the near future.
