When Palestinians hear or read such a statement, they often burst laughing. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, Zionist Jews expect whom they dispossessed and ethnically cleansed (Palestinians) to love them rather than hate them. To this degree, Jews have untethered themselves from reality: they do expect Palestinians to be thankful for Nakba! God forbid, when Palestinians don't acquiesce to this ridiculous expectation, and hate those who replaced them, Palestinians become the "Jew Haters"! This is lunacy on steroids, this cognitive dissonance at its worst, isn't only laughable by me (the Palestinian), but also by Zionist leaders as you shall discover below. That said, we urge you to hang on to your seat first; you shall be exposed quickly to high doses of reality:
- When Hitler rose to power in 1933, David Ben-Gurion (the 1st Israeli PM and the founder of the state) predicted a world war. This war might threaten not only the Jewish citizens of Europe but also the Yishuv as well. The sense of responsibility loosened his tongue, and he began to say things in public that he had kept to himself in the past. He no longer offered convoluted explanations for the Palestinian Arab resistance against Jews and British occupation. He stated in 1938:
Official UN Map: Which was updated in August 1950 showing that Palestinians STILL OWN 94% of the lands
"Almost every [Palestinian] Arab" opposed Zionism, "because he is an Arab, because he is a Muslim, because he dislikes foreigners, and because we are hateful to him in every way." The conflict had lasted thirty years and was liable "to continue for perhaps hundreds more." This was a "real war, a war of life or death." (Shabtai Teveth, p. 184)
Now, do you understand why Palestinians and Arabs in general HATE Zionists?
Is it possible that is the case because of Zionists' hate for Arabs as Ben-Gurion professed it to be?
If that is what Palestinians and Arabs felt during the pre-Nakba period, how do you think they feel now! Assuming that Palestinians exist of course! Do you understand why the vast majority of Zionist Jews still hang on to big lies like this one? -
Ben-Gurion also clearly stated that it was the Zionists who were the aggressors, at least from the political point of view, and he admitted that Palestinians have the right to defend their lands, which is now considered "antisemitism" by most Zionist Jews. He stated in the context of the First Palestinian Intifada in 1938:
David Ben-Gurion: we're the aggressors; Arabs defend themselves. (Righteous Victims, p. 652)
"When we say that the Arabs are the aggressors and we defend ourselves ---- that is only half the truth. As regards our security and life we defend ourselves. . . . But the fighting is only one aspect of the conflict, which is in its essence a political one. And politically we are the aggressors and they defend themselves." (Righteous Victims, p. 652)
-
Moshe Dayan (former Israeli Defense Minister) stated in an oration at the funeral of an Israeli farmer killed by a Palestinian Arab in April 1956:
". . . Let us not today fling accusation at the murderers. What cause have we to complain about their fierce hatred of us? For eight years now, they sit in their refugee camps in Gaza, and before their eyes, we turn into our homestead the land and villages in which they and their forefathers have lived.
We should demand his blood not from the [Palestinian] Arabs of Gaza but from ourselves. . . . Let us make our reckoning today. We are a generation of settlers, and without the steel helmet and gun barrel, we shall not be able to plant a tree or build a house. . . . Let us not be afraid to see the hatred that accompanies and consumes the lives of hundreds of thousands of [Palestinian] Arabs who sit all around us and wait for the moment when their hands will be able to reach our blood." (Iron Wall, p. 101) - Similarly, Ehud Barak (former Israeli Defense Minister and Prime Minister) was asked this question, and his reply was:
-
It is worth noting what David Ben-Gurion told Nahum Goldman before he died:
"I don't understand your optimism," Ben-Gurion declared. "Why should the Arabs make peace? If I were an Arab leader, I would never make terms with Israel. That is natural: we have taken their country. Sure, God promised it to us, but what does that matter to them? Our God is not theirs. We come from Israel, it's true, but two thousand years ago, and what is that to them? There has been anti-Semitism from the Nazis, Hitler, and Auschwitz, but was that their fault? They only see one thing: we have come here and stolen their country. Why should they accept that? They may perhaps forget in one or two generations' time, but for the moment, there is no chance. So it's simple: we have to stay strong and maintain a powerful army. Our whole policy is there. Otherwise, the Arabs will wipe us out".
"But how can you sleep with that prospect in mind," I broke in, "and be Prime Minister of Israel too?"
Who says I sleep? he answered simply. ( The Jewish Paradox by Nahum Goldman, p. 99) - Please watch the former head of the Israeli Internal Security Service (Shabak) describing what he would do if he were born a Palestinian. It is for 30 seconds only:
- Here is the well-known Zionist historian, Benny Morris, saying the same thing. Believe us, he is no friend of Palestinians:
"If I were a Palestinian of the right age, I'd eventually join one of the terrorist organizations." (interviewed by Ha'aretz's Gideon Levy in March 1998)
We urge you to watch Bassem Youssef articulating the earlier Israeli leaders' quotes within 90 seconds or less:
It should be emphasized that the CORE issues of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict are the DISPOSSESSION and ETHNIC CLEANSING (compulsory population transfer) of the Palestinian people for the past seven decades. Therefore, the conflict is deeply political and not about antisemitism that the Western world has experienced, and the conflict would’ve been at the same level of intensity even if both parties had been Jewish, Muslim, or Christian! Palestinians only resist and hate those who dispossessed them and threw them out, and if those were Jews or Buddhists, that is fine; be it. Palestinians are humans like you! Palestinians ONLY hate those who dispossessed them, the same way Jews feel about those who dispossessed them in Europe; is that a surprise? Does that ring a bell?

We want to share a statistical fact that will surprise many Jews and Westerners. While interviewing over 700 Palestinian refugees (part of the Nakba Oral History Project, which all can be seen online), we asked: how was your relationship with Jews before Nakba? Almost all except one answered between good and perfect! Of course, all that changed after Nakba; thanks to Zionist Jews & their colonial policies that ended up dispossessing & ethnically cleansing the Palestinian Arab majority, they’ve managed to convert friends to enemies! It should be noted that many Israeli Jews reported similar findings but on the Israeli Jewish side.
Finally, if all the above quotes and arguments aren't sufficient for the average Zionist Jew, seriously
How do you feel about those who persecuted Jews in Europe for centuries? Do you love them or hate them?
Do you condemn Ben-Gurion's antisemitic response when he heard of the Kindertransport that saved ten thousand German Jewish children a month after the Kristallnacht pogrom in late 1938? Shame on you if you don't.
Before we leave you, please contemplate watching this young American Jew who articulated our point of view in under two minutes. Make sure not to skip the last few seconds:
If you have 10 minutes, please watch Shlomo Yitzchak explain how he got out of Zionism:
