يازور: صورة نادرة لمغتصب صهيوني في احدى البيوت المنهوبه ويبدو سعيدا لاستيلائه على هذا البيت. يجب الملاحظه بأن غالبية اليهود المهاجرين لفلسطين قد نجو من اضطهاد مماثل في أوروبا، فكيف يفسر عمل كهذا؟ 1948

I grew up in Yazur, 1949-1964 then immigrated to the US. I do recall the lack of housing. In my minds eye I can probably still count the number of homes and destroyed foundations in the town. 800+ does not compute nor does the math of 4500 residents and in 1948 and 29000 refugees today. I do not dispute the horror of war nor can I nor anyone else justify the damage it does to humanity. I have visited this website several times because I too feel a connection to it. I salute you for your work and for making what appears to be a true effort at remembering the horrible past. Yazur has a present and a future, hopefully a peaceful one. If allowed I will post some photos from my childhood.
